Keypad and display is a window for users to check the working status of VFD and control the VFD through it. For first time use, it’s important to know what is the function of each key, and the meaning of each indicator.
The article will explain the function of USFULL FU9000D keypad.
➧RUN: Press RUN key can start the variable frequency drive when it is in the operation panel control mode (factory default).

➧STOP/RST: When VFD is running normally, press STOP, VFD will stop running; when in the fault state, press STOP key can perform the reset operation.

A potentiometer can easily and quickly adjust the frequency/speed.
As you can see, USFULL FU9000D has a built-in potentiometer. If you need an external potentiometer to control the frequency and speed remotely, please refer to our video: how to connect external potentiometer.
➧SHIFT: SHIFT is used to select the displayed parameters in turn, both available in the stop or running state; and in programming mode, SHIFT can also be used to select the digit to be modified when modifying parameters.
➧PRG/ESC: PRG/ESC for choosing the programming menu or escaping the programming menu. Please notice that PRG/ESC can only enter level 1 of the programming menu, while when you want to escape, you can use PRG/ESC to escape levels one by one.
➧DATA/ENT: Enter the menu level by level, and confirm the parameter setting. DATA for enter/confirm
↑：UP is for increasing data or function code
↓：DOWN for decreased data or function code
➧QUICK/JOG: This is a multifunction key:
Function selection QUICK/JOG is set according to P7-01, which can be defined as command source or direction.
Menu selection: Redirect among menu modes according to PP-03.
Indicator：(Using the SHIFT key, you will see the indicator shows different contents of the inverter)
The 1st indicator is a running indicator, the 2nd indicator is for forward/reverse running, the 3rd indicator is the indicator for command source, and the 4th one is fault indicator.
The 1st indicator on the right is the frequency indicator, the 2nd indicator on the right is the current indicator, and the 3rd indicator on the right is the voltage indicator.
